Rules for all users

When you break the rules, you will be either warned, kicked or kicked and banned. Ban length will vary from 1 minute to permanent. These rules apply for chatting in #mp3 and chatting with other users private in #mp3. We don't WANT to ban anyone, but to keep the channel clean it WILL and DOES happen.

1. No nuking: Nuking of any kind will not be tolerated. Any DOS attacks/ virus-scanning will resort to a perm Auto Kick and possible NETWORK G-Line and your ISP notified.
2. No repeating: Do not repeat the same line over and over again (Defined as 3 lines in 60 seconds)
3. No cloning: No clones allowed for the purpose of getting more files.
4. No autogets: Because you don't want every song that is being played in #mp3
5. No on-join/on-part messages/notices/file-sends This includes onjoin-welcome-messages
6. No advertising/inviting: No invites or advertising other channels or IRC networks. This icnludes talking about other channels/networks !
7. No trades, FTP, WWW, Shoutcast, ICQ Do NOT ask for or advertise FTP sites, Web sites, or files to be sent over ICQ or Email.
8. Request timers must be set to at least 30 minutes ( =1800 seconds )
9. No flooding: Don't play any long lists to the channel. Either send them in a text file or play them in a private query/chat.
10. No flaming: Do NOT flame in the channel, if you have a problem with another user, take it to a private chat/query.
11. No whining About Ops: No whining about ops, if we need an op we will let you know, if you ask us for ops, you will just irritate us and you'll probably never be an op.

Rules for File serves

1. You can set up fileservers by mp3scripts like SPR-jukebox
2. Fileservers are not allowed to have ratios.
3. List-advertising-timers must be set to at least 10 minutes / 600 seconds (This rule doesn't apply for playing your mp3s)
4. Advertisements for fileservers/send-stats should not be longer then 5 lines total in 10 minutes.
5. You will be voiced only if you setup a NO-Ratio-mp3-server with at least 50 mp3s online. If you do you will get a +v. You can also register your fileserver. This will also protect you from most auto kicks/bans and give you access to some special features.
